Reach Montreal around noon and went to meet with Evan, who kindly let me pass night at home, as it had not bathed since the Larry and Lucile house, the first thing I did was take a bath, and after that began to speak while I was teaching him how to make homemade pasta. While we were catching up I remembered that Diego had told him that I would buy a kg of grass that Montreal is a shop called "English Bookstore" and typical products sold in Latin America. So buy 10 kg of grass, a bit of quince is amazing but no one here knows what it is and I could not buy Faina because they had more.
La fiesta era en un apartamento en el tercer piso, y cuando llegue había por lo menos 120 personas stuck in the apartment, from which came a smell of beer, cigarettes and marijuana than Mommy, but I would not turn so I got there, tucked in a corner there were Evan and his band playing a sort of Jazz / Hip Hop and even had a vocalist but I do not understand a word the rest of us encouraged and kept pace with the music. But it took 10 minutes to reach the police party came !!!!!! Given the high volume of music from the apartment owners had to pay a fine of $ 500 and the party ended just like that, luckily, the police entered the house and did not stop anybody, just made sure that partygoers were removed in order even if the house owners were asking everyone to leave for about 10 minutes because it was so much noise from people who no one heard anything and I think more than one was afraid to leave home fear that the review and find some illegal substance, I for my part, I stay with teams Evan disarming and went quiet after the police left.
The next morning, after breakfast I continued to travel to the West, Gatineau next destination, hoping that this time I was going to be lockout a week as the first visit to that city. Again Diego and his family welcomed me with open arms and we punished again with a delicious barbecue. After several hours of talk went on tour trying to put as many miles as I could in the day as from Dartmouth to Edmonton, there are nearly 5 000 km and had only 1500 tour ... so I stayed at least 3 days long trip when everything went well and I put up with driving 12 hours a day.

Asad!!
The rest of the trip passed without much to note, many hours of travel, lots of dry food and quick to prepare in order to put the most hours per day. The I do include the return trip to Edmonton is that he has turned around kms, the great unknown is how many laps as before .... I hope this is the first jijijiji. And I have to thank Diego because when you pass by his house back I sold an external hard drive to your computer with many films and documentaries (for the winter in the Arctic) as well as audio books that were of great help to kill travel times because as I am not listening to music or radio as I spend 12 hours bored of watching the road. For those who have downtime, I recommend investigating the matter because the truth is good, I listen 2 books which I recommend the book called "The Ominivore Dilemma" (The Omnivore's Dilemma).
Video on Route 11 in Ontario are about to give back to the account kms.
Km 000000 in the van

Arrive Edmonton on Thursday night and went to the home of Crystal and Earl, a must when I'm in the area and leave them some boxes to look after me while I'm in the Arctic, I contacted with Cody, the mechanic, who I will care for the truck and take the chance to fix some minor problems when you return to the route next year and I also got in touch with the Edmonton Leos that I had planned an epic days for Saturday.
So Friday I went and let the truck in Cody, after accommodating all in the back and assemble the bags to come to me for Inuvik, hence Cody took me to Edmonton to prepare for Saturday.
But I have to stop the story and tell what until now has been the most bizarre event of the trip. When they were on the road heading to the Cody house I was in a construction zone so it had formed a long line of cars as one of the two-lane road was closed. Traveling at a speed average of 10 km per hour I see the driver of a truck that was in the right lane motioned me to come down the window, and I did, and the driver asked me for my trip, it appears that had seen the map of the driver's side and some kms before we started to talk about my trip while traffic was moving slowly, after a couple of minutes this man (and he never asked for the name) asked me "want a cookie to water ????" as if it were the normal thing, and as you can imagine I say yes, so I see him stretching his arm towards the back of the truck and I realize that the entire back of his van was full of boxes of cookies into the water and grabbing a package that keeps me scream online truck he I pulled the cookies out the window and flew 2 boxes in the van I wonder if he jijijijij training. But as the lane in which he was moving faster call me "lucky!" And continued their journey. I could not believe what crazy event and killed me with laughter but that did not end the issue of cookies because I see half miles later the van stopped at the point where the two rails are joined as I get there I see I had 3 boxes with 16 packs of cookies each and asked me if I wanted more, I had time to respond when I see three boxes come through my window and just before leaving he says, are cool so I'll last at least a year and went back to his vehicle. As an extra for this bizarre episode of the journey, I see this man a few kms further on and I took a picture with his cell phone and was never to see him again ... ... So glad to go !!!!!!
and arrived on Saturday morning, day epic with the Leos, the slogan, eat until you drop! But I start with an advantage because I found Mo (the Coffee veteran) who was in Edmonton because they went on vacation to Antarctica, if it is crazy to go on vacation north pole to south pole? But hey says penguin loves it here and there, and we had a coffee and we caught up, from there walk one hour to time and I met with the Leos for breakfast and began operating to eat, I ate 2 pancakes , 2 eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast and all this coffee, I can say that it is full all day with that food, but the slogan was established and not going to leave after a meal, so that's where we to distribute leaflets for a book I read, as the day of Halloween were to collect non-perishable food to donate the houses to the Edmonton Food Bank, the campaign is organized by the bank and look for organizations like the Leos to travel to different parts of the city, the bell is called "trick or eat" (trick or food). After another hour of walking we were having lunch Vietnamese food, for me it was rice with pork chops, but most ate a very spicy soup which I tried and I let his tongue on fire even though I said it was not very spicy jijijiji. The vast majority of Canadians believe that because I'm from Latin America like to eat spicy all the fault of Mexicans jijijiji.
Danny, Look, Jenny, Jenny's boyfriend, Ban, Jo and I had breakfast in the epic days
I can say that after lunch to finish with great difficulty, is extremely full and there was still dinner ... .. at that point was 2 pm and dinner was marked for 6 30. So we went to West Edmonton Mall, the world's largest shopping, walk a while and I take advantage and I drink a chamomile tea to help digestion, the detail is that most people only joined us in one or Danny only 2 meals, Mira and I made all day. After a few hours at the mall we went to dinner, I tell them it was full but on principle would not overlook the dinner, but knew that in Inuvik eating out is out of question because first the food is super expensive and super bad is second in quality except coffee jijijiji quality is good, and so I found myself in a place called fat burger (hamburger fat) where all the food is super heat, to the point where you can eat a meal of 2000 kcal a day jjijijij required. My dinner was a classic burger with onion rings and a milk shake which was delicious cookie oreos.
Sunday October 24, at 5 am I got up to wait for the bus to the airport, still wearing my shorts though that temperatures had dropped enough and while waiting for the bus began to snow, first snow of the year in Edmonton and I come to get me in shorts .... But it was good and compared well with what I have now lived in the Arctic was almost a beach day hehehe.
The flight was pretty normal, I slept most of the trip but had a little baby that was passed by playing on their Nintendo with the tune that broke the balls and when you finish the battery began to play with skateboard toy, to more noise still ... ..
funniest thing on the return flight was that when I get to Inuvik, I realized that no was the only one who had bought donuts from Tim Hortons at the airport, as more than half of the passengers was carrying the same boxes jjijijij.
airport in Jordan waiting for me who took me to his house again and after a while I was catching up to the cafe to organize my Monday and I had to start working ...
The first week in Inuvik I move fast because between work and parties at night at the home of people who came to eat not leave me much time, further that Jordan was organizing everything to the Halloween party was taking place at my house Saturday night, one of many parties that were in the city that night. I was not happy with having people at home it was obvious he was going to re going to get drunk and fuck all night and I was not going to sleep .... But hey could not say no because I could sleep until Sunday afternoon. But I have to say I was wrong, the party was pretty good, many people dressed up and seriously talk about costumes, and the atmosphere was good, until they began to play a game called "flip cup" (turning the glass) . The idea of \u200b\u200bthe game is two teams of equal number of competing players, each player has a glass with a couple of inches of alcoholic beverage which has to quickly take and then put the glass on the edge of the table and hitting him on the basis it has to land face down on the table, where does this next player on his team repeated the same action until all players make the first team on turning all the vessels wins and the losing team has to drink again. Purpose of the game drunk very quickly. Result I went to my room to watch TV jijijiji.

But after a couple of hours many people went to different bars where there was competition for party costumes and calmed down a bit. Then I reappeared on the scene and as we were only a few had a great time.
the Sunday after Halloween, we went to Oscar and Asian Cat, walking. With a temperature of 15 degrees below zero to a viewpoint that we are in a parque a un par de kms de Inuvik.

And now that's it, I mean what I have done in Inuvik but what I will tell in this article, because in the next I'll tell you of my other activities such as, riding a bike sled dog sled, plastic sled on a slope overlooking a frozen lake ice skating, cross-country skiing and other things that I've been learning in Inuvik, so I hope you have time and energy to go that soon.
