But before you go to a better future that will catch up with what has happened so far.
Because as I said in the post above, there have been many adventures we have undertaken in the Arctic and do not want to leave without any comment because the truth is worth seeing to what extent we are crazy up here jijiji.
For example on 21 December lunar eclipse day, we decided to go to a picnic in a park that is on the outskirts of the city, to roast a mallow disks and a hot chocolate but as the eclipse was very later decided not to stay and wait for this to take place at least not outside because although the day was not very cold as we were at 20 degrees below zero jijiji.
Lots of smoke, but where is the fire??
I see flames, nice warm weather!

banks were busy so we sat on the floor jijiji
But set fire and our thermos of hot chocolate and a nice fire, we did a good bellyful, to try to throw us in slides but there was lots of snow and we could not get much speed so I desisted from that idea.
was very good because we were a lot, some others walked and skied but we carry the wood and everything on a sled and spent a couple of hours until we entered a freeze and we went back there. So now I can say I was roasting in the Arctic mauve discs with 20 degrees below zero, that is for Canadians who do not know north ....

During the holidays I can say I had a great time, we had around since 24, Pinette invited us to a traditional Danish dinner, for which I cook, duck, ham, glazed potatoes, a cabbage and vinegar thing that was very rich and much more in all of us. We had a quiet, talking and trying to learn to juggle.

Then at Christmas we get together at home of Jordan to another delicious dinner, exchange gifts, games and some much alcohol jijijiji. There were some serious injuries but nothing more serious than a hangover as a result jijiji

The 31 spent in Genevive's house, with more alcohol than food, but with many celebrations and all wanted to start 2011.As you can imagine the alcohol issue is not so much to me to make up on Sunday January 1st we went with some friends to go to the cabin that Mo has a lake which is 10 km from the city. A cottage can be reached by various means, such as, jet sled, skiing, walking or driving on snow (but not be reached by car because you have to walk 10 minutes to reach the cabin from the end of the route which on the lake as you can imagine is well frozen).
spent the time playing cash games and melting snow to get water. The cottage has no electricity or running water so everything is in the light of candles and have a kitchenette but there is no way cooking on wood stove is the only way to heat the place. This means that if the heater is switched off for a couple of days the cabin is frozen and then take 4 or 5 hours to heat the room enough to take off his jacket, but once it warms up is very nice and welcoming.

The idea was to return to Inuvik that skiing is about 10 km but after the first 600 meters I broke a ski so we had to walk back to the cabin and call for us

But last Saturday after a festival held every year to celebrate the return of sun, if after 4 weeks without see the sun on January 6, we saw a brief peek over the horizon but it was only for a few minutes is all one event. And on Saturday the town hosts a fire where they give hot dogs and hot chocolate all over quickly because it is very cold but very nice and there are fireworks to celebrate. And although this year there were 25 degrees below zero people commented that it is one of the best years it is normally much colder. And not only that but the background for the fireworks we had the Northern Lights shining and dancing as if he knew it was time to celebrate the return of the sun ....

But as I was saying, after the festival we went to Mo and Louise ski to the cabin were 2 hours of skiing but we got to the cabin and it was warm because I had gone in the afternoon to light the stove. And after a warm delicious meal we went to bed very tired from the journey, but the Arctic was very nice with us because for most of the journey we had skiing and dancing northern lights shining above us and the light and guiding the moon shining flashlights use only the last leg of the course where we had to make our own way on the lake because the snow had covered the trail of the bike we were using sleds to date, so I walk with skis on about two feet of snow so if I may say it is not easy, because the skis are buried in the snow and difficult to get them to take another step and not think of falling because as all the snow around you is very weak not There is nowhere to rest to get up, but obviously all of us fell a few times and while we raise and we get to the hut was not easy.

But it was worth it to spend a nice night and a better morning breakfast with the view of the sun rising over the hills, and best of all, no one must get up at 6 in the morning to see that, because until noon the sun rises and not only does it for a while hehehe.

And when we were by Louise to return to Inuvik, Asian Cat was going to stay in another cabin on the lake, called us and asked if I could ski with us because were afraid to be alone jjijijij. So after a few shouts for me because it was the first Asian Cat skiing and did not hurry and I was freezing, we went and everything went well for Asian Cat turned out to be a great skier.
