I remember like it was yesterday, and that was one of those days you know you are never forgotten, of that you know that make your life and it does not return to the same thereafter. 5 years ago today, I connected a messenger "x" looking for friends and suddenly a Bulgarian boy named Martin found me. Or rather we are, because while I had located in a chat room and was planning to send a message.
All our talks were very long. Only the first time we talked we stayed connected for 7 hours that night, sitting in darkness, meditating on the new kid who had just know I told my mother who had just entered the room, "Mom, I think I just met the man she will marry me."
that day, May 23, 2003, my life changed. And here I am 5 years later, after having experienced a cyber-love (which I had sworn that it did not exist), waiting unsuccessfully for a Mexican visa for him to give up my work-family-friends to launch into the adventure of seeking my love across the world after a wedding away from my people and my country, after a beautiful baby and a happy life in Mexico with my two loves.
5 years ago today I met the true love and I am happy to have him me.
