Hello people , turned !!!!!
After a vacation in Oscar's house in New Westminster where I did not do much as I had told them I went to visit Rebecca in Whsitler. Rebecca was lucky enough to live with me in Wanaka for a few months that's how I met her.
the way to Whistler lift a man I was hitchhiking on the road and told me that coming from Montreal but had taken the bus to Vancouver and Whistler was his destiny and could not believe his luck as this was my destiny, the best part was that I saw straps with their bags and with extended finger but just as I saw it was a steep slope to a single lane and I could not stop but as I saw who was walking as soon as I stop to wait and when I saw him I waved and despite being quite far you can see the happy face that put me, reminded me of my time hitchhiking in New Zealand.
Once in Whistler, went to Rebecca's house where I was waiting for dinner almost ready, thank god the mother of Rebecca, Oprah, is an excellent cook and we enjoyed a rich curry.
Rebecca The next day we went to the village as this week had a bike competitions, the festival is once a year and lasts about 10 days. We saw some decline in female mountain and we took a few laps in the village, what struck me is that the lifts that take people to the top of the mountain in winter for skiing and in summer for mountain fall or go for a walk to downtown, there are two mountains Whistler and Blackcomb, which in turn are linked by a top the other in what is told me the mono rail higher and throughout the world or something, really impressive to see all the cars hanging from the cable that extends over 1.5 km and only has 3 columns. And on Tuesday night after a delicious meat lasagna went to the movies. We saw the Leonardo di Caprio film in English is called Inception, this is super good but streaky, I would recommend if you like suspense thrillers.
But the best part started on Wednesday we went to hike to a glacier, the walk is 11 km round trip, and passes through 3 lakes to reach the base of a glacier , we got to the third lake and after a good lunch we came back but the views are spectacular, I got into the two upper lakes but only for a while because the water was cooler than Heva in Gold River, and that is a lot.

So we went Carrey, Els (The full name is Els, I ate a), Rebecca and me. The first lake is very easy to reach, less than 5 min changing in a very easy way, to tell them that is accessible to wheelchair users, beautiful view of lake and glacier in the distance. Then it gets more complicated and steeper and longer, you have to walk on stones and the road is full of roots and stones making slower progress than usual but when we reached the second lake left me speechless, blue water turquoise, without a movement on the surface, the pine forest that is on the hillside and closer then the glacier. And when we went around the second lake we saw a fallen tree in the water that served as my springboard, but as soon as water enters the shock was so great, despite knowing that the water was to be cold, to swallow water while trying to breathe underwater. So the sooner you enter jijijijij left.

As we knew it was close third Joffre Lake as it was all wet barefoot followed the road which caught the attention of all who saw me but really it was easy land full of squishy jijiji.
But when we reached the third lake, my god !!!!!! That beauty and that I'm not easily impressed but the fact that the views were magnificent, well we knew there were going to lunch some delicious salmon sandwiches we had brought that were yummy, another dip after I went to explore a little closer to the glacier while the 3 girls were taken alone and talking. We must emphasize the value of Els also got into the third largest lake, because Carrey went to his knees and turned around and Rebecca did not even put his feet jijijij.

The return was quicker and more full of complaints because we were tired but really it was worth more because Carrey way back home we were invited to a barbecue because her boyfriend is from New Zealand and had some friends visiting him.
Wednesday afternoon barbecue at the home of Carrey, who lives in his parents' house rather is a mansion, is a log home but it's huge and while it has a rustic-looking kitchen dream and the rooms are quite large and well lit.

El jueves fuimos con Rebecca y Ophra a hacer otra caminata esta vez más corta y menos complicada pero igualmente asombrosa, nuestro destino esta vez fueron los cedros gigantes, aparentemente son el último vestigio de este tipo de árboles a estas alturas. Esta vez la caminata fue de tan solo 4 km ida y vuelta más o menos.

On Thursday night I got to cook for me, so it was pizza night. But the best part was when at about 11 pm when we were all lying Rebecca I knock on the door and says, "just call me Els to see if we are going to see the meteor shower next to the lake ..." is can imagine what was my answer so we went to the lake and we were like until 2 am talking to a lot of people who had gathered to watch the meteor shower, I saw like 20 and never really seen so many in so little time. What I need to see the northern lights, I hope when you get north to see them ...
And on Friday I play heading north where they planned to go to visit some relatives but when I call Chrystal about us and the others were not going to be when I pass by his house so I'll continue on to see how I can go north. What the view from the road are very nice, too bad the cameras did not really capture what it's like driving on these routes .... Anyway will be satisfied with the pictures I draw jijijij.
Ahh I forgot, when you get home from Rebecca told me that would change the engine to the boat because it was broken so we could not go to the cabin on the lake, so maybe next time ....
